Founded by architectural conservation specialist Samuel Brooks, and drawing upon more than twenty years of professional and academic experience within all project stages, Left Field Motive works across architecture, conservation, adaptive reuse and heritage-led design, with particular expertise in historic fortifications, civic landmarks, scheduled monuments and historically significant landscapes.
Previous work has included complex regeneration projects on iconic Solent sea forts, sensitive treatments of Windsor and Newport Guildhalls, and a range of challenging heritage contexts requiring careful intervention and long-term strategic stewardship. Left Field Motive effectively combines modern, research-led thinking with practical architectural understanding and conservation expertise.
